Starting on your venture to becoming a powerseller on eBays market can be tough. When I started, I sold what I could find around my house and then had no idea what to do next. Ebays a great business with so much opportunity but I know I found it hard to take the next step after selling things that I found here and there around the house. I had to go through a lot of research that I just wish I could have been told up front because I wasted so much time. And I hated that. Most of the powersellers on ebay wont share any secrets or give any advice which is understandable, but come on, theres enough space on ebay for everyone, so I have no problem sharing the tips and tricks Ive picked up along the way.br /

First of all, you dont need to have a budget to start with but if you want to start making real money youre going to need to have at least $100. If you dont have any budget at all then I recommend selling things for your friends and family and keeping a small commission. That way you can build up some funds to get started with. How much you make and what you do honestly just depends on what youre comfortable, the two sources that were most valuable to me were, Craigslist and The Salehoo drop-shipping source . Craigslist is free and it is basically like ebay except it is local so you can buy products locally for really low prices and then sell them on ebay, nationally or internationally, and make a decent profit most of the time. Salehoo is a wholesale and dropshipping directory and its what the powersellers on ebay use to get feedback ratings of 100,000 and up and its how they make a living on eBays market. Joining salehoo will cost you a one time payment of $67, which isnt bad comparing to doba which is $60 a month. Doba is a little better but not worth the $60 a month in my opinion unless you live by a computer. Theres so much to say about wholesale suppliers, etc. because theyre a little bit more complicated than craiglist so I wont go into too much detail. If you want to know more about it then check out this article. The links below.br /

Id recommend Salehoo if you wanted to make a living on eBay but if youre just using ebay as something to make a little bit here and there then you should try visiting pawn shops, Garage Sales, Yard Sales, Thrift Shops, and Store closings. Youd be surprised at how much money you could make. If you want to look more into any of those strategies, then check out this article. It explains exactly how to go about each process.br /

Hopefully the information that I have provided has helped. I know how tough it can be making money on ebay. Being able to find things to sell on ebay is the biggest barrier though. Once you find what works for you though, youll be really successful.br /

Years prior, I had made roughly $32k and received $5k back but was paying taxes as I received my paychecks. I am head of household and have a son and am single. If I made $47k this year but $10k was on ebay, does that reduce my return?
